Frac Sand Weekly News Digest

Nick Cook, Editor

Issue #292 | October 7, 2020

Right now there seem to be more questions than answers in the frac sand world.  Our team is working diligently to assemble an agenda and a lineup of experts to address many of those questions at the Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference.  With so much uncertainty, this could be the most important frac sand conference you ever attend.  The frac sand industry of the future is going to be smaller, and the partnerships and deals that enable companies to be a part of that future are being made now.

The conference will include masks, social distancing, and the other safety precautions to which we are all getting used.  We recognize that some corporate policies prohibit employees from attending in-person events.  We disagree with those blanket policies and we believe it is high time people had a choice to get out and to safely get back together.

In addition, because important business partnerships depend on mutual trust, we believe that meeting face-to-face is vital.  That is why we are not planning on livestreaming this conference.   To our peers in Canada, Argentina, and elsewhere, I am sorry you will not be able to join us this year.  We look forward to seeing you again soon. To those of you stateside, we look forward to seeing you next month in San Antonio!

And now the news…
