This is the quietest week for frac sand news that we have seen in years! The 4th of July holiday, combined with Infill Thinking taking a few days off, is the reason why. No problem. I am sure we’ll have a flood of interesting frac sand news next week. We’ll talk to you then!

Ashley Watt is nothing if not a friend of fracking. She’s invested in mines that supply the sand frackers blast into the ground. Her Twitter handle is “Frac Sand Baroness.” That’s what made it all the more jarring almost three weeks ago when Watt began publicly railing against one particular oil driller for leaks on her land.
The Petroleum Connection is pleased to announce that PropX has signed on as a Golf Sponsor for the 10th Annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference.
The company now plans to rapidly assess the land package to determine its geological and economic potential.
