R&N, in partnership with its terminal operator Texas Sands, increased its frac sand carloadings to 2,000 carloads.
At the core of ExxonMobil’s results is a principle the industry has long understood but struggled to operationalize at scale: there remains significant areas of unpropped fractures meaning lower-density (and micro-) proppants can travel farther into the fracture network and remain suspended longer, increasing propped fracture area and overall conductivity.
