Eric Barton is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over 10 years of experience in the industry and has worked for EP Energy in Houston, Texas for seven years. He is currently the category manager for proppant and proppant transportation and has also previously held regulatory and safety positions on the HSER team. Eric notably supervised the logistics segment when EP Energy became one of the first operators to transition to a direct sourcing model in 2012 and debundled proppant from their pressure pumping providers. Eric received his Bachelor of Arts from Sam Houston State University in 2005.
