ATG was established in 2007 to better serve the railroad needs of the Owner’s past and future customers. We bring our combined years of experience working for some of the top railroad and civil contractors in the United States to our customers. We want to be the top SERVICE contractor to each customer we serve and to establish long term relationships with each one. Our goal is to be “your railroad contractor of choice” for all railroad services. We feel we are well on our way to accomplishing this in the short 7 1/2 years we have been in business due to the feedback our satisfied customers have given us.

We personally started our railroad careers as laborers and worked our way up to top management/owners. We understand our customer’s needs. We know how to bring you quality service at the most productive and economical price and we know how to deliver in a timely manner…often finishing ahead of schedule. But even more important….we have NEVER finished late!

SAFETY is first and foremost in all of our endeavors. Our employees are trained in many areas from day 1 and continually on a daily basis. We have invested significantly in all areas of safety including training (OSHA, MSHA, 49 CFR Railroad Workplace Safety, Roadway Worker Protection and more), supplied PPE, drug screening and background checks through e-Verifile/e-Railsafe/e-Verify and specialized equipment for railroad work. We are proud to say we were chosen as the National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association’s 2013 Gold Level Safe “Contractor of the Year.”

We service a broad geographical area with many satisfied customers. Some include Class I and Shortline railroads, Light Rail systems, power plants, refineries, grain elevators, warehouses and many other types. No job is too small…these customers get the same dedicated & personal attention as any other customer. We can serve as a general contractor or a subcontractor, depending on the job and needs/wants of the customer.

Through the years one of our specialties has evolved into being able to take an Owner’s project that they were told was impossible to do or was not feasible with the design they were given, & make it work. We’ve been able to analyze their needs & concept & think outside the box to come up with a solution that works for them. If you have a project you’ve been told wouldn’t work or wasn’t cost effective for you, give us a call. We’d be happy to look at it & design something that will work.

Call us with your needs and we will be glad to visit with you to determine the best product and most cost-effective service for YOU.
