HOUSTON, Texas — August 31, 2026 — US Industrial Exchange (USIX) is continuing to reshape the digital landscape of oilfield procurement with the expansion of its online marketplace into South Texas. The platform is now live in East Texas, the Permian Basin and South Texas, giving oilfield suppliers and customers a digital marketplace to connect, source materials and transact.
USIX was developed to simplify the way oilfield commodities are bought and sold by bringing suppliers and customers together through a centralized digital platform. The marketplace currently focuses on spot frac sand, allowing suppliers to post available volumes, mesh sizes and pricing while buyers can view available material, shop and purchase directly through the platform.
“USIX is designed to bring greater efficiency, transparency and simplicity to oilfield procurement,” said Sam Reynolds, President of US Industrial Exchange. “Our goal is to create a neutral marketplace where suppliers and customers can transact efficiently without the traditional friction associated with establishing new business relationships.”
Anonymity and Streamlined Transactions
A key feature of the USIX marketplace is its anonymous and neutral transaction process. Suppliers and buyers remain blinded to one another until a transaction is completed, allowing the marketplace to focus on the material, pricing and transaction rather than the identity of the parties involved.
USIX also manages transaction paperwork through its platform. This eliminates the need for incremental paperwork when new entities conduct business through the marketplace, helping streamline the process from sourcing through completion.
Bid Tool to Expand Procurement Capabilities
USIX is currently developing a bid tool, with an anticipated launch in early October. The new capability will allow customers to solicit and compare bids for longer-duration work while giving suppliers the ability to quote projects and source materials through the platform.
The bid tool is expected to significantly broaden the scope of commodities available through USIX. While spot frac sand is currently the marketplace’s primary focus, the company plans to expand into additional oilfield commodities, including chemicals and fuel.
Exploring Last-Mile Logistics Partnerships
USIX does not currently provide last-mile logistics services. However, the company is actively evaluating partnership opportunities that could add last-mile transportation and delivery capabilities to the platform.
The objective is to eventually provide customers with a more turnkey procurement solution, connecting digital sourcing and purchasing with delivery directly to the field.
With its expanding geographic footprint, upcoming bid functionality and plans to add additional commodities and logistics capabilities, USIX is positioning its platform as a digital marketplace for the broader oilfield supply chain.
