Texas Conservation Plan

Gene Richardson is the Executive Director of American Conservation Foundation (ACF) since inception August of 2019. ACF is the current permit administrator for the Texas Conservation Plan for the Dune Sagebrush Lizard. Prior to starting ACF, Gene was the Director of Commodity and Regulatory Activities for Texas Farm Bureau, where he retired after 24 years. Gene was a participant in drafting the Texas Conservation Plan as well as other Habitat Conservation Plans. Gene’s formative background is with farming and ranching.
