Ryan Hassler is a Senior Analyst on Rystad Energy’s Shale Intelligence team, specializing in oilfield services research and market intelligence. Ryan joined the company in January of 2019 with a background in the Canadian oil and gas industry, holding various roles in operations and engineering for heavy oil and oil sands mining producers. He is currently the lead analyst covering the US L48 water management and proppant markets, focusing on produced water management, seismicity, and proppant supply, demand, and pricing. Ryan currently sits in Denver, Colorado and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
