Last week we asked readers to give us some feedback on potential extracurricular activities which could be held at the 10th Annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference. In addition to great content and networking, we want attendees to relax and have some good fun. Hopefully more will consider bringing spouses and families. Toward that end, we asked what side activities might be popular. Here are the results:
Question: We want to make the 10th Annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference the best conference you attend each year. In addition to great content and networking, what can we add to the conference so that you enjoy it even more? Might you consider bringing your spouse and kids? Some of the options might incur an additional fee.Check all of the potential conference extracurriculars which would be of interest to you:
An Evening Out at GrapeFest (Grapevine’s huge wine festival) – 62% said that would be of interest.
A Reception Cruise on Lake Grapevine – 54%
A Classic Movie on the Big Screen in the Main Conference Room (open to families and complete with pizza, popcorn, etc.) – 46%
Shooting Sports – 46%
A Morning Bible Study – 46%
Local Activities for Spouses During the Main Conference – 38%
A Nature Walk – 31%
Kayaking on Lake Grapevine – 23%
Less popular were the options of Beginner Zumba, Golf 101, or early morning yoga or fitness workout.
So there you have it! Looks like we need to explore options at GrapeFest and for a reception on Lake Grapevine! The classic movie night has some potential. There is a great shooting facility right down the street from the Gaylord Texan, so we’ll look into that as well. A morning Bible study is easy to arrange, and with GrapeFest in town there should be plenty for spouses to do during the conference sessions.
