Frac Sand Weekly News Digest

Nick Cook, Editor

Issue #284 | August 12, 2020

Take a seat.  Put on your reading glasses.  There is a lot of great information in the newsletter this week.  Honestly, I don’t know why!  In addition to the reliable Infill Thinking analysis, we have a surprising number of webinars, podcasts, videos, and case studies added to the mix this past week.  Oil prices remain stable (and, I think, slightly higher than expected).  Some companies may be realizing that we’ve hit bottom, are stabilizing, and those companies are mildly surprised that they are still standing!  They may be turning their attention back to business and trying to see what opportunities may be out there.

Let’s be a little optimistic and dream of the day when we can get back together, roll up sleeves and show our scars, catch up, and do some deals!  Mid-November seems like an ideal time to do that!  Maybe mid-November in San Antonio?  Plan on joining us at the 9th Annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference (https://petroleumconnection.com/event/9th-annual-frac-sand-supply-logistics-conference/).  It’s time to get back to business.
